Mike Shaft

DJ Mike Shaft took over the soul show from Andy Peebles in 1978 and presented his legendary Taking Care of Business show from 1978 to 1986. Mike invited local DJs including Greg Wilson, Chad Jackson and Gerald Simpson to curated 'Best of' mixes which became must-listens. Mike moved on to Sunset Radio and BBC Radio Manchester.
