Eric Barlow

Eric Barlow was born and lived in Heaton Norris, Stockport for many years. He had a refresher course of tuition with Mrs Jessie Davies, ATCL also of Heaton Norris. Originally a busy Pianist with a local Function Band led by Syd Chadwick, he progressed to playing Electronic Organ at local Clubs, most notably St Peter's Catholic Club in Hazel Grove. He became very involved with Theatre Organs and was Resident Ballroom Organist at Stockport Town Hall alongside his lifelong drummer friend, Geoffrey Stokes. Both are deceased and I (now in my mid 70s, remember them both well). I am writing this as a Pianist myself using the name "Tony William" on various online Music sites. (August 12, 2026).
