Vile Vile Creatures were formed in Manchester around 2004 by Jenny Howe (guitar/vocals), Sian Williams (bass/vocals) and David Miller (Drums). Leigh Downes later became the drummer. VVCs played shouty riot grrl punk and sounded like ‘a dolls house falling down the stairs’. Their music was built on strong feminist, queer and DIY foundations.
