Gun Control

Gun Control were a Bolton/Horwich band featuring Tony 'Dil' Wilson, Gnasher, Steve Fielding and Tony Parkinson. The band had a large rowdy following from Horwich. Gun Control played regularly at the 'bus-in' nightclub in Bolton. As well as featuring live acts the bus-in was also known to act as a brothel. Local prostitutes would use the club to RV with clients, however this bore no relation to the local bands who played there. Gun Control disbanded after singer Gnasher had to leave the band and join the army to pay off a fine picked up after followers of Gun Control attacked local mods at the Balmoral pub in Bolton in revenge for several attacks on punks by mods in the weeks prior.
