D.J. Records

There were three branches of D.J. Records throughout the sixties and seventies: 629 Stockport Road Longsight Manchester 176 London Road Hazel Grove Cheshire 339 Wellington Road North Heaton Chapel Stockport D.J. Records originally started on Hyde Road in West Gorton before moving to Longsight in 1970. The subsequent shops were in the 70s. Stopped trading about 78/79. There was also a fourth shop for a short while in the precinct in Hattersley. (Submitted by Debra Jones 05/07/13)
