Not my video but despite being around at the time I have never seen it before.
BBC Brass Tacks documentary and panel discussion about Punk Rock - remember that this was at the time when Punk was public enemy number one.
There's a lot of footage of the Drones at the circus, but for me the great stuff is the interviews etc with the participants - it just reminds me of how tame it all was really and it's interesting how normal and eloquent these young people are despite being demonised in the press.
The really weird people are in the discussion show after, never forget that these people ran the country then - it's no wonder Punk happened.

Look carefully and you'll see "Big Dave" with spiky hair and a dog collar! He went on to be the drummer with The Rythmaires and a few other rock'n'roll / rockabilly outfits.
