ESG live at Castle Quay (stage was set up close to Bar Abaco), Castlefield, bank holiday Monday - May 29th 2000. Also on the bill were Dakota Oak Trio and John McCready and Andy Votel.

ESG (Emerald, Sapphire and Gold) are an American band that originally consisted of the Scroggins sisters, Renee (vocals), Valerie (drums), Deborah (bass) and Marie (congas, vocals) and friend Tito Libran (congas, vocals). During their first incarnation, the group released three songs produced by Martin Hannett on Factory Records.
