One of a number of 1970s record shop bags donated to the Archive by Ashley Kennerley.
Looks like D.J. Records were servicing the good people of Longsight, Hazel Grove and Heaton Chapel at this time.
The year is a guess...

West Gorton. Manchester Council asked me to move to the
shop on Stockport Road as they were worried about the curved
windows. It was the best move I ever made. for a time I had an
in-store shop in Guys and Dolls in the town centre but then I
opened the Hazel Grove and Heaton Chapel shops. I also later
on opened a shop in Hattersley
It was a wonderful era and I have very fond memories. It is such a shame those times cannot b e experienced by todays generation
