The Images

The John Lennon memorial concert in Liverpool Dec 1980 in front of 90,000 people, 2 days after he was murdered. This photo is a still from some old cine film (hence the grainy and blurred quality) taken by Colin, brother of two of the band members, playing at the top of the steps of St Georges Hall in the city centre. The full Cine film has some quite unique footage of what was a largely unarchived historic event, making Col's film even more precious.
