Before The Deaf Institute and The Footage pub there was the derelict Grosvenor Picture Palace that was used as a favourite site by Tosh Ryan's flyposting gangs. Tosh is a long-standing Manchester legend, former business partner of Martin Hannett and former co-owner of Rabid Records.
