“Was researching my family and came across this article about by Godfather Uncle Herbert.
He was the Organist in St Margaret's Hollinwood Oldham. Where My Father and I were Choristers
Not at St Johns.
He Taught me Piano and he was later on in 60s. Appointed principal of Music at Salford College when it became Salford University.
Also he toured Toured Germany by invitation to play many of the Church Organs in the country”
