Tour advert for King Of The Slums gig in London.

“Abdom, long lost and finally found - it's me!
Nice to know someone cares out there back in Manc Land :-)
I am living and working in Thailand, and still play.
Great great times back then, and I still have a picture somewhere of me in the studio - 16 track, Cavalier I think it was called. We laid the drums down live, and everything in a few hours. I still have the kit, it's a belter (will try dig out the picture for sight)
By the way, is your name in any way related to a one Abominal Pain of the Dentonian types?”

“I am not sure if anyone still cares about you in Manchester Ross. But I care! although I now live in Port Melbourne Australia and have done for 20 years.
It is Paul Keelagher by the way. I was given the nickname Abdom by Muppet out of Armed Force who we supported once at the Mayflower. The name sort of stuck. I saw Eric last year at a City game he lives in Denton still and I saw Tez to, he lives around the area still. Jackie Blower from school is on here as "Jax"
drop me a line at Keelaghers@optusnet.com.au

“well, well, hi there Paul, I remember now the Adom nickname, and so great to hear from you. Must be well over 25 years since we met last!! WOW, will contact you for follow up chat.
Now for my most famous quote of the time (actually from the Mayflower Club)..."which twat spat" Do you (or anyone) remember the poet?
By the way, got the picture from the KOS recording date, will post...”

“Hello again rossco I do have a vague recollection of the "Which tw*t spat" incident, it is locked away at the back of my semi pickled brain somewhere. It was virtually 30 years ago. Was it Moey from the Hampsters or Mick Hucknall in his Frantic Elevator days perhaps?
Is there any truth in the rumor you played with Wayne Fontana in the 80's?
anyway Ross send me your email so I can chat directly I am at keelaghers@optusnet.com.au”
