The photograph is of the three founding members, songwriters, and musicians of Inside Edge:

Nigel Grayson, Bass guitar
Carl Kennerley, Drums
Mike Rutter, Guitar & backing vocals

The photograph was taken in 1990 at the band’s rehearsal studio in New Mills by Colin Roberts who was a school friend of bassist Nigel. It was part of a photoshoot to promote the bands demo Winter Flight featuring the songs Dawn Before Dark and Wall of Silence. The vocalist on the demo was Carol-Ann.

The wall in the background is a painting by bassist Nigel entitled Love, Hate, Life, Death, that was also one of Inside Edge’s songs.
