Chair offshoot Electric Blue, can't even remember where Kaleida was now Oldham Street it says, I know I've been but my brain won't recall.

I'm not even sure if this is the right year.

“It was Republica before Kaleida.I remember playing there loads in the mid 90's.
Before Republica it was called PJ Bells.
It changed to Kaleida in 1997. It didn't survive for long.It ceased to be by 1998, i'm almost certain.”

“It lasted about 8 months, it was open for 4-5 months whilest joined to kaleida cafe in withington (now Fuel), we had a big falling out, I took Fuel, he took the club, it went into bankruptcy about 3 months later. Kaleida cafe became 60/40, then Fuel, although the concept stayed pretty much the same.

Fuel was sold 4-5 years following this.”

“Kaleida was open between April 97 and July 98, only link to cafe in Whithington was the name. The club had over 12 months of great business and times, hosting all of city's great and the good.”
