Artefact

Other
John Shaw
1902

This is a bit of a mystery. Some of the insides of its body are built like a violin, the shape is built like a viol, but it has been identified as a viola. Who knows! What we can say is that is built in 1769 in London, by Edward Dickinson in Soho, London., and was repaired by John Shaw, in Manchester, 1902.
