The Out
1979

The Out seem to remember I saw them at the poly but it could have been the Mayflower. Remember that I thought they were quite good, but I haven't had a record player for nearly 20 years so i haven't heard the track for a while. One or 2 well known faces on the cover. though I have forgotten most of the names anyone care to identify them?

“If my memory is correct they supported Sad Cafe on tour. I think George Borowski(?) was on guitar. Thought they were quite good.”

“I seem to remember seeing The Out at a festival in Rippingham Road Park which was billed (not without irony) as the "Withington Woodstock". Must have been about 1979. Fast Cars were also on the bill that day.”

“I am fairly certain I was at the festival too we were sort of hangers on for V2 who had transported all their gear in a borrowed fishmongers van.
boy did it stink. I cannot remember much else about the day, just that bloody van!”
