Artefact

A poster for Something Shady's sell-out gig at the International 1. A lot of posters from this era would include a note about disabled access. Sometimes bands would be accompanied by a person interpreting the lyrics in sign language for deaf members of the audience. The was a general atmosphere supportiveness between members of minority communities.

The were an all-gand who did loads of gigs between 89 and 92 and had a big gay following. Musically I think it was a pop/soul vibe.

Toilets leave a lot to be desired should read as , bring your bloody waders. I remember going to see Suicidal Tendencies at the Int 1 and rowing into the bogs!
