Good gig as I recall ,though mad packed. I'd seen 'em at The Cavendish some time earlier but this time they had Georgey Boy on backing vocals....Did we really want to hurt you.....? Naah, you're awright guv.Don't mind that track he's done with that Mark Ronson character, good little pop ditty....
Besides coming up with "The Cassette Pet" (kind of an E.P. on a cassette concept) , Malcolm and his erstwhile Ants, released what I think was the first one-sided single deliberately released as such and therefore marketed at a reduced price to normal 2 sided singles (the B- Sides of which were almost invariably naff). Great idea but didn't really take off....Could have been one up for the punters for a change...t'weren't meant to be....
