Polly's Overload
1997

Polly's Overload emerged in the mid nineties.
Manchester based, and contributed to the underground indie music scene of this era.

Extremely melodic and catchy songs with an eighties retro feel. Could be described as indie pop but with new wave roots.

They produced very polished recordings some early recordings are very rare and the first picture sleeve pictured the Pollys Overload Doll with its many annagrams.
This band played all venues in manchester between 1996 and 2001.

Major record company interest always followed this band, but were jinxed with drummer problems.
a shame really, because this band deserved a long term publishing deal with a major label.

This band later went on to become Circle in 2000 and released their debut single breakthru and little genie.

The photograph was taken in 1997 in the red house practice rooms .
