'The Art of Teaching', bound volume of lecture notes
Description: Bound volume which Rolls covered with brown paper. The original label on the volume reads 'The Royal Manchester College of Music, Ducie Street, Oxford Road, Department for the Training of Music Teachers; Name - Sydney Rolls [in own hand]; Notes on Teaching'. Sydney has written his name on the inside page, too. The volume contains extensive lecture notes taken by Rolls; the course was delivered initially by Dr Walter Carroll and then by Dr Thomas Keighley.
Exercise books, 'Graded Harmony Questions and Exercises', by T. Keighley

Book V contains 240 harmony exercises, but Rolls has not completed any of these.
