Articles by Carl Fuchs
nd
Four articles. Two are part of a series, 'A Manchester Cellist', the first details memories of Hallé and Brodsky and describes how Fuchs came to Manchester; the second includes memories of Richter and Fuchs' internment in Germany during the First World War. The third piece [from the Manchester Evening News] deals with the history of the Gentlemen's Concerts and includes a photograph of the last such concert in 1898. In the fourth Fuchs talks about his travels with the Brodsky Quartet.

Cuttings album
1905-1908
The majority of these cuttings relate to the Promenade Concerts Speelman conducted at the Free Trade Hall. Most have been pasted into an old diary, one or two have come loose. The diary itself has no cover and many of the pages are in a fragile condition.
