If you search venues for "Berlin" and the red "Noise" club night flyer you'll read of the musical melting pot that was operating on the Mcr indie scene across the mid-80s - a journey from goth to Madchester which the Roses both reflected and influenced.

Theatre of Hate featured Billy Duffy from Wythenshawe - Ex Nosebleeds, who went on to mega-success in the USA with The Cult.”
