My similar recollections on this gig are posted under a different Stone Roses artefact - a flyer for a later gig at International2.

If you search venues for "Berlin" and the red "Noise" club night flyer you'll read of the musical melting pot that was operating on the Mcr indie scene across the mid-80s - a journey from goth to Madchester which the Roses both reflected and influenced.

Theatre of Hate featured Billy Duffy from Wythenshawe - Ex Nosebleeds, who went on to mega-success in the USA with The Cult.
