Morrissey, Longfella aka Tony Walsh
2011

I don't think that there are too many poets who have been published in Q magazine. My role as website poet in residence at Glasto 2011 provided me with a press pass and so I grabbed the journos from Q and offered them a piece for their Glasto Review special edition.

I was then well chuffed to find myself sharing a double page spread with Jarvis, The Wu-Tangs, U2, Wayne Rooney, Graham Coxon... and Moz, pictured here with his bizarre choice of footballing friend, ex-MCFC bovver boy, Joey Barton. Maybe he's a sweet and tender hooligan after all?

I've always said that I want to be able to buy my poetry in supermarkets, ie to have mass appeal. So I was delighted to be able to buy this in the the Radcliffe branch of Asda. Rock and roll!
