Title: Letter from Thomas Pitfield to Canon Maurice Ridgway
Level: Item
Extent: 1 folio
Creator:
Dates: c1967
Scope and content: Pitfield thanks Canon Ridgway for going through his script and for his observations - nearly all have prompted revisions. Pitfield goes on to discuss Ridgway's suggestions, and it seems the script referred to is Pitfield's 'Adam and the Creatures' (which is indeed dedicated to Ridgway). The letter is simply dated 'May'; 'Adam and the Creatures' received its first performance in February 1968 so the letter perhaps dates from May 1967.
