This collection mainly consists of programmes of performances that Philip Jones was involved in, most notably the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble. Also included are files of press releases and small files of correspondence, a travel diary, photographs and biographies.

Description: Programmes of performances by the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, Philip Jones Wind Ensemble and by Philip Jones alone. Most are in English but as the PJBE toured all over the globe, some are in other languages, highlinting their incredible world tours. International performences are mentioned in the scope and content field for each file. Some contain inserts such as newspaper clippings, some correspondence, tour plans, schedules and other ephemera. Some are annotated with stage directions and notes on the music and songs.
Description: Press cuttings, photocopies and magazines containing reviews and interviews on the PJBE. Some of the collection is not in English. Contains he occassional programme which have not been removed to preserve context - they are duplicates of those contained within PJBE-ADD1/1.

Description: Discopgraphy list and manuscript notebook with quarterly notes on which discs were sold, which country bought them and what looks like notations on how many were sold (possibly in batches, not individual discs).

Description: Correspondence maily to Philip Jones regaring his performances from composers, letters regarding bookings and letters from friends. The series also contains a cashbook which has been used as a travel diary for the PJBE's tour of Brazil in 1985 with a letter from Jones to his wife Ursula inserted in it.
