The score is undated, but a note on it indicates that it was submitted (or was intended for submission) to the "BBC 1000 Competition" apparently run by BBC West, Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2LR. The deadline was apparently June 30th. Date of 1973 supplied by BBC Written Archives Centre: this was a competition to celebrate 1000 years of British monarchy.
