Electric 50: Important Information

Electric 50: Important Information

We're all really looking forward to Electric 50 - our fundraising event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bob Dylan's incendiary 'Judas' gig at the Free Trade Hall.

There are still a few tickets left, and they can be obtained here.

On the day of the gig a section of Oxford Road will be inaccessible (see map). Please give consideration to an alternative route if you think this will affect you.

The Academy have agreed to provide 50 seats at the front and the rest of the floor will be standing only. If you want a seat you will need to get down EARLY. Doors are at 7.30pm and the performance will kick off shortly after.

To raise money for Manchester District Music Archive there will be a raffle. Tickets will be available on the door. There will be 6 prizes of a Mark Makin original photograph from the 1966 Free Trade Hall gig, presentation sized and signed by Mark.

At the end of the gig we will be seling exclusive Electric 50 art prints designed by acclaimed Manchester artist Stanley Chow. We will also be selling exclusive badges made for the event.

We would like to thank everybody who has made a contribution to this event, be it musical or organisational. Everybody involved has given their time (and lots of it) entirely voluntarily.

We look forward to seeing you all down there!
